Obituary of Diane Minnard

Diane Minnard, 83, of Cortland, NY went peacefully to be with her Lord and loved ones on December 6, 2022, surrounded by her loving family at home. She was born on November 20, 1939 in Syracuse, NY to the late Kenneth Croft and Ruth Halbritter Fellows. Diane's greatest joys in life was her family and friends. She was very active with the Order of Eastern Stars Marathon and Homer chapters, Amaranth, Rebekahs of Center Lisle, Shriners and Loyal Order of Moose. She also spent many years participating with the Marathon Fire Department and Ambulance, Cortlandville Fire Department as well as the Auxiliaries for both and Cortlandville Fire Police. She helped raise money for Children's Diabetes and Dialysis. Her special hobbies were enjoying her beloved pets, crafting, painting, bowling and puzzles. She was predeceased by her husband, Milton, son, Adelbert, mother, Ruth, father Ken, stepfather Adelbert, sisters Pat and Sheila and brother in law, Duane. She is survived by her son Tom (Renee'), daughter Kay Hulbert, sister Elaine (Robert Dexter), grandchildren Nadeane, Elizabeth and Adam, Shelly, Tracy and Kristina, Tiffany, Ashley and Victor, several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Donations can be made to Hospice of Cortland County 11 Kennedy Parkway Cortland NY 13045, or Cortland County SPCA 879 McLean Rd Cortland NY 13045 Calling hours will be 3-5 PM Tuesday at Wright-Beard Funeral Home, Inc. 9 Lincoln Ave, Cortland, NY 13045 with a funeral service to follow at 5 PM. Spring burial will take place in Cortland Rural Cemetery.
