Obituary of Walter Andrews Sr.

Walter Andrews Sr., 91, of Cortland, NY, passed away on Sunday, December 18, 2022. He was born on July 20, 1931, the son of the late Clifford and Josephine Andrews. Walter was a loving husband, father, brother, and friend. He served in the United States Army, in Korea, from 1948-1952. Walter worked for the Cortland High School from 1968-1996 as a custodian. He loved hunting, muzzle loading, casting, and entrepreneur work. Walter was a dedicated member if the VFW and the American Legion. Walter is survived by his children Walter Andrews Jr., Cheryl (Daniel) Searls, Kathleen Falcon, and Dawn (Mark) Winn, and his sister Beverly Lake. Walter is predeceased by his wife Katherine Andrews and his brother Richard Andrews. A memorial will be held in the spring.
