Obituary of Gloria J. Tucci

Our beloved mother, Gloria Tucci has moved on from this life, after 88 years of love and joy. Born in Andover Massachusetts, daughter of René and Agnes St. Jean, older sister of Joyce, Agnes and Leslee. They are all welcoming her to the next life. Travel, reading, gardening, golf, music, and dancing are just a few of the activities she enjoyed. She held a variety of positions over the years but her favorite was as a travel agent. During her service in the US Air Force she met and married Fred Tucci. Her husband and sons, Jonathan and Paul Tucci also predeceased her. Her many friends and family members left the "party" before she did, but not before sharing a lifetime of excellent adventures, hearty laughs and warm love. She leaves just us, her daughters Renée Lyman (Mark Lyman), Michelle Tucci; and grandson, Luke Conklin (Marjorie Harrington) to keep her spirit of joy, optimism, practicality and love alive . We will deeply miss her daily presence, strength and constant love until we meet again, somewhere, someday, somehow. We will love and honor her in our hearts forever . At her request there are no calling hours or funeral services planned. There will be a celebration of her life, at a future time. I’d like the memory of me to be a happy one, I’d like to leave an afterglow of smiles when life is done. I’d like to leave an echo whispering softly down the ways, of happy times and laughing times and bright and sunny days. I’d like the tears of those who grieve, to dry before the sun. Of happy memories that I leave when life is done.
