Marjorie J. Tifft, 81 of Marathon passed away on April 19, 2023 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. She was born on December 17, 1941 in Ithaca, NY a daughter of the late Joseph and Myrtle Ayers Basl. Marjorie hobbies were crocheting, camping, cooking, family gatherings on holidays and special events. Marjorie is survived by her loving children, Jerome (Roslie) Tifft, Jr., Joseph Tifft, James Tifft, Gail Noel, Cynthia (Roger) Hatch, sister, Peg Hathaway, several grandchildren, and several great grandchildren. Marjorie is predeceased by her loving husband, Jerome Tifft, Sr., sisters, Dorothy Neff, Mytrle Clark,Betty Ostertag,, brothers, George Hilsinger, Samuel Hilsinger, Howard Hilsinger,Sr., Hubert Hilsinger. Stepsisters, Helen Basl Butts, Marquarite Basl,, stepbrothers, George Basl, Sr., Howard Basl.
