I know the pain of watching someone suffer with cancer, and the helpless feeling it leaves in its wake, and the emptiness it leaves behind. People will tell you time will heal, and I don't agree...It will always hurt, but you somehow learn to live with it. You will smile again, and you will laugh again, and you won't feel right when you do, but I know Karen wouldn't want you to stop living. Let yourself cry, and hurt and be angry at times too. You have two amazing sons who will be your rock, and your grandchildren love you so much, they will be here too! As well as me.I love you and Karen very much. I miss you all more than you can ever imagine. I am so sorry I never got to see her. I wanted to. I wish I could have been there to help you through it all. I know what its like.
