Charles M. Cox 79 passed away at home in Cortland, NY on April 22, 2023. Born in Johnson City NY on September 18, 1943. He was predeceased by parents Lester and Mary Cox, sisters Rose, Carol and Roberta. Charles served in the US Army for 3 years. He worked 30 years for IBM, was a volunteer fireman for Harford Fire Company and a member of the American Legion Post 617, Marathon NY. He served as commander of the post and of Cortland County and was a 6th District vice commander. Upon retirement his enjoyment was golfing and traveling with his wife of 58 years Rosemary (Horrocks) then settled back in Cortland, NY.
Surviving are 3 daughters Linda Cox, Patricia Bolhouse, Tina Laramee and 2 sons Timothy Cox and Kevin Cox. 6 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
