One of the best men I've ever known.
As Susan's bestie since childhood, I was lucky enough to have this great man as a second "dad" back in my youth. When I think of him to this day, I have a sense of warmth and respect that I will carry with me. I know he will be missed very deeply by so many. Praying for comfort and peace to the entire Goodrich clan.

I didn't have Mr. Goodrich for math but knew him well as Steve's dad - they lived only a few blocks away. We always remember our teachers, it the classroom and in the community, and Mr. Goodrich was a great one.

Sincerest condolences to family and friends. Irv was a great guy. We taught at the Junior High and High School in Cortland for many years. He was my inspiration in retirement. Had many good times at the Elk's Lodge. RIP.

Being friends with Irv goes back to the 50s. Many many good memories. One that stands out is when our family visited the Goodrich family on Cape Cod for a few days. Others are the times our families rented cottages near each other on Skaneateles lLake and had such good times together. Irv was a very dear & special friend. He will be missed by many.

Scott (Rosie) and Susan (Jeff), So surprised to read of Irv's passing. What a guy. I had a "fizzies" party for my birthday June 15th, 1967 in his 8th grade math class. My golf partner, Susan Call Myers said he was one of her favorite teachers back in about 1953. What a legacy. When I visited Norma Riley and Irv in December he was in good spirits. Could not wait to go to Scott's for Christmas. I offered to drive him for an appointment if needed. He said he had a lady friend doing that. I laughed. I did send him a card when Steve died. I absolutely adored Irv. Mr Goodrich. He was by far, my absolute favorite teacher in High School. My Mother also had him in High school. He was one of her favorites, also.
I’m extremely saddened by his passing. He and I took short walks together shortly before the pandemic. I visited him at his home, also. He lived right around the corner from me. I enjoyed his company and our conversations. He was a hoot. He thought I was too. We lost track of each other during pandemic. I knew he moved to Brewster House.
I will miss my good friend. I will miss the times I used to see him walk by my house.
I am truly sorry for your loss, Scott and Sue. He loved showing me all your pictures when I was at his house visiting. He was truly proud of both of you.
God Bless the two of you. I am also so sorry to hear of the passing of your brother.

Sincere condolences to Irv’s children and stepchildren. He was my algebra teacher in 1963, many years before he married my Aunt Mary. Irv was a great teacher and one of the nicest people. I was so happy for my Aunt. They had a wonderful life together. May he forever rest in peace.

My sincere condolences to the Families of my Special Buddy. Irv was a great friend. We traveled to Aruba together and all had a wonderful time. As in The Elks' Club also when he brought Mary with him. She had everyone in stitches'He was loved by everyone. Each time we ran into each other first we always said "Are we having fun yet?'
