Obituary of Marilyn Martin

Marilyn Martin, 92, of Syracuse, NY passed away on Wednesday July 5, 2023. She was born on November 13, 1930, the daughter of the late Fred and Bessie Smith Walker. Marilyn was a loving sister, aunt and friend to many. Early on in life, her and her sister Anna moved out west and the adventure began. They traveled and lived in many states where they met a lot of people and had many great experiences. Marilyn was a determined hard working free spirit. She will be missed by many. Marilyn is survived by her siblings Barbara Riley, Dot Root, and Shirley Parker, her nephews Scott and Bryan Seamans and nieces Margo Fowler, Lori Budzinsky. A small celebration of life will be held at the graveside on Monday July 17, 2023 at 11am, in the Cortland Rural Cemetery, 110 Tompkins St., Cortland, NY.
