Obituary of Lawrence Dippold

Lawrence M. Dippold, 67, of Rome, passed away on June 21, 2023, at Rome Memorial Hospital. He was born on March 26, 1956, in Cortland, NY to his parents the late Lawrence Joseph Dippold and Doris Olive Tuttle. Larry moved to IRA 1 from Cortland in 2020. Since coming to the IRA, he was always there to greet anyone coming through the door with his fabulous smile and welcoming nod. Larry enjoyed music, watching action movies, attending sporting events as well as sitting with staff to help with puzzles. He liked to supervise staff as they filled the bird feeders. He enjoyed getting dressed up and going to "Night to Shine" and the "Prom". Larry had an affinity for hats and looked rather dapper no matter which one he wore. Larry liked dogs and coincidently would always run into someone with their dog when he was out in the community. Larry could always put a smile on staff's face, he will be truly missed.
