Obituary of Lawrence Strauf

Lawrence Strauf, 89, of Cortland, NY passed away on Monday August 7, 2023. He was born on June 10, 1934, the son of the late Elmer and Fern Hicks Strauf. Lawrence was a loving father, brother, grandfather, and friend. He was employed with Brewer Titchener Corp., prior to starting his own business. Lawrence became the proud owner of Strauf's Automotive and Electric, where he worked on starters and alternators. Lawrence is survived by his children William (Margaret) Strauf, Robert Preston, Melodie Robinson, and Sharlene O'Brien, and his grandchildren Allyson Bervetti and Daniel Strauf. He is predeceased by his wife Mary Strauf, his daughter Mary Calhoun, and his siblings Glen Strauf, Clarence Strauf, Jonathon Strauf, Gerald Strauf, Lewis Strauf, and Dorothy Epp. The graveside service will be private.
