Obituary of Andrew B. Ross

Andrew B. Ross, 46, of Cortland, New York, passed away on Friday September 8, 2023. He was born on February 22, 1977 in Cortland. Andrew was a loving father, son, brother, grandfather, and friend. He worked for over 20 years at Marietta/ Voyant Beauty, and then went on to be a supervisor at Byrne Hollow. He was extremely intelligent, and had a passion for working on computers and electronics. Andrew loved music, nature, and beer, especially his Budweiser. Andrew is survived by his close friend and mother of his children, Brandy (Anthony) Ross Stephenson, his children Caden Ross, Abigail (Breezy) Ross, Emily Ross, and Elora Moore, his grandchildren Christian and Cameron Poston, his sister Beth Wiers, his parents Thomas Nichols and Lynn (Bill) Wiers, his cousins Raymond (Melissa) Teeter, Tanya Rowley, and Theresa Rowley, Brandy’s son Jaheem Stephenson, his mother-in-law Susan Allen, his brother-in-law Jesse (Debbie) Allen, his cousin-in-law Ian (Shannon) Andreas, and his close friend Shanatha (Shawn) Fazenbaker. Andrew is predeceased by his brother William Wiers, his father-in-law Mark Allen, and his brother-in-law Ben Allen. Calling hours will be held on Friday September 15, 2023 from 2-4pm at the Wright-Beard Funeral Home, 9 Lincoln Ave., Cortland, NY. A celebration of life will follow at 4 at the Palm Gardens, 52 Elm St., Cortland, NY.
