Obituary of Amy S. LaMarre

Amy Susan (Church) LaMarre, 44, of Homer, New York, passed away unexpectedly on September 11, 2023. She was born on December 9, 1978, to George and Dawn Church. Amy was raised in the Cortland area, where she graduated from Cortland High School. She spent her career as a housekeeper at the Hampton Inn. In her free time, she loved spending time with her children. Amy is survived by loving husband of two years, William “Bill” LaMarre; her four sons, Hunter LaMarre, Steven Cowen, Jordan LaMarre, and Justin LaMarre; mother, Dawn Church; siblings, Kathy Church Case and George Church Jr.; and many nieces and nephews. In death, she joins her father, George Church Sr.; sisters, Lori Marshall and Cindy Williams; and brothers, Mark Church and Ricki Church. Amy was a wonderful mother, wife, daughter, sister, and friend and will be greatly missed by all who loved her. She will be laid to rest in Glenwood Cemetery in Homer.
