Osbeck Family - My Mom and I are so very sorry to hear about Phyllis. She truly was the "Salt of the Earth". Good, honest, friendly, and straight forward. Phyllis was incredibly special although she would never think that in any way. Over the past several weeks, my mother (Bobbi Fitzpatrick) would talk about Phyllis every day and remember the great times/memories she had with her. We tracked Phyllis´ health by speaking to her or family over many months. Phyllis Osbeck was one of a kind and there are not enough adjectives to capture her goodness. We send our love to the entire Osbeck family and especially Dick. I believe that Phyllis and Dick have been together since 8th grade and have a great love story. Phyllis Osbeck will be missed and her impact on family and friends will always be immeasurable. Jay Fitzpatrick

Dick, Jon, Mellissa, Mary, Sorry for your loss. May happy memories help you through this difficult time. I remember the time camping like it was yesterday. Obviously I wasn’t a great photographer but wanted to share the photos. I loved that hat and we were so skinny lol.

I was saddened to learn of the passing of Phyllis. I always enjoyed seeing and talking with her and Dick whenever we met up. I first met her many years ago when I was Jon's teacher at Virgil School. He remains one of my favorite students. A memory that stands out is the time I took Phyllis and Dick to the Rotary Club's Luncheon and celebration of Rural-Urban Day. I am a farm girl and I was happy to have real farmers to take with me to that lunch. I will miss seeing her and I am so very sorry for your loss. I am also sorry that I am not able to attend her calling hours or funeral as I had some surgery done this week and am directed to stay home. With love, Jane Snell
