Very sad to hear of Pastor Beth’s passing! She had a delightful personality and was a joy to be around. She had a special way of helping others, knowing what to say and do. We became friends while working with her at the church, then enjoying catching up after her retirement. Beth will be a shinning star in the sky watching over her family. - Priscilla & Joe Lorah

I met Beth during and the Covid season. We spoke several times by Zoom and I was taken by her spiritual insight, wisdom, and her heart to help others. As the International Coordinator of Youth Ministries for Kairos Prison Ministry International, I was thrilled when Beth accepted the role as Advisory Council Chair for one of the Youth Facilites in NY that we were bringing Kairos Torch to. Although she was dealing with serious health issues, I would have never known it if someone else had not told me. What a beautiful spirit Beth carried... I will Beth's quiet wisdom.

It was my privilege to know Beth when she was assigned to Caton UMC. My favorite memory of her was when she led a workshop for United Methodist Women on the theme of salt. I still have the scarf I made at that workshop.

Pastor Beth would always take the time to call, be present and check on others even while she was dealing with her own health issues. She was a true servant of God and always served with a willing & glad heart. I will miss her phone calls, love and caring spirit. She didn't let her illness stop her from living her life. I love and will miss you. May you rest in peace. Barbara McMillon.

Beth and I had a great time sharing a room at Casawasco for a training. We laughed about what a shock it was to see her name on the door because I have a niece named Beth Bouwens, too!
What a lovely lady to know.
God bless those she has left behind.

Beth and I(Kim) first became acquainted when we shared a room at the NEJ meeting in Philadelphia. We've been friends ever since. She was a mentor to me as I navigated candidacy for Licensed Local Pastor. Her friendship is something I will always treasure.
