Obituary of Marsha Thorp Tursso

Marsha Thorp Tursso, 74, of Cortlandville passed away peacefully December 8, 2023. She was born July 17, 1949 in Cortland the daughter of the late Willard and Wilma Barber Thorp. Marsha was a lifelong resident of the area graduating with a GED while attending TC3.. She taught pre school at the Marathon Christian Academy for several years. She enjoyed singing, was an amateur artist, and tending to her Native American Face Book page. Marsha is survived by her companion D. Art Martin, her children John Saplin, Clifford (Roxanne) Saplin, Misty (Jonathan) Schultes, Tanya (Andrew) Gilsey, sisters Marie Purdy, Paulette Young, along with several nieces, nephews, cousins, and grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents and her sister Janet Williams. There are no services at this time.
