Obituary of Rose Marquerite Guidry

Rose Marquerite "Rosie" Guidry, 88 of Cortland passed away on December 10, 2023 at Crouse Hospital, Syracuse. She was born on October 8, 1935 in Georgetown, NY a daughter of the late Harry and Mae Sawyer Haitian. Rose was a dedicated and loving housewife raising four children. Her hobbies were Bingo, no matter the location. She could be found at the Homer Elk's, Moose Lodge, St. Mary's, Country Music Park or Turning Stone Casino. Rose is survived by her four children, George "Frank" Coville III, Penny Coville (Jay Baldassarre), Jeff (Cindy Jones) Coville, Trudy (Harlan)Pudney, 10 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, brothers, Raymond (Jan), Donald and William Haitian, sister, Hazel Hunter as well as several nieces and nephews. Rose is predeceased by her daughter, Roxanne Coville, two grandchildren, her brother Arthur Haitian, sisters, Shirley Stone, Marie Krom, step sisters, Mae Bates, Bessie Bridges.
