Linda was a true and trusting friend. We bonded around nature. She introduced me to the Lime Hollow Book Club. We spent many hours watching and comparing notes about the birds at our feeders. We worked together on the Mclean Beautification committee and it projects. We took walks in the Riggins Woods and shared are deep love and caring for the environment. Finding a friend to share those deep feelings with was very rare and special.
Linda loved and accepted everyone. Her card club include people from all the groups she belonged to and everyone was welcome.
I will greatly miss Linda and our special talks.

The Lime Hollow Nature Center and Cortland community is significantly poorer with Linda's passing. It was my honor and pleasure to work with her for many years when we were getting the nature center started. No one was more supportive and dedicated to making Lime Hollow the success it has become!
If, indeed, we are all made up from the same stuff as stars, Linda brought a great deal of light into this world.

I had the genuine pleasure of working alongside Linda on the Lime Hollow Board of Trustees for many years. She was a wonderful lady -- exceptionally warm-hearted, dedicated, thoughtful, engaged, kind, insightful, curious, and focused on childhood education. She will be missed, and her family has my heartfelt condolences.

I met Linda while supervising student teachers in her classroom. She was a fine mentor to SUNY Cortland students and a collaborative colleague.

I first met Linda when I was hired in 1988 to teach enrichment classes at McGraw Elementary School. A part of my job was to teach lessons in to students when classroom teachers invited me into their rooms. I remember how warm and welcoming Linda was to me. I only taught 3 years in McGraw. I reconnected with Linda more recently when she joined my water color painting class and when I started playing pickle ball. I will always remember Linda for her kindness to me and the enthusiasm she had for everything she was involved with.

I am very saddened by Linda's passing. We worked together for many years on the Board of Lime Hollow Nature Center. She was the perpetual Secretary, and a meticulous note taker. Once in awhile I would sit in for her when she could not attend a meeting, and I always was worried about not getting everything recorded! She was one of the first people I started playing pickleball with, and it took me quite awhile to be able to keep up with her. I enjoyed occasionally getting to partner with her as "Team Lime Hollow." Linda was a kind, caring, concerned, and very energetic person. I will miss her but always remember her.

Our Dear Linda,
Thank you for welcoming me into the swimming and pickle ball communities. Thank you for your kindness and stories. Thank you for helping me through my helping me see my own grief and helping me see beauty, again. I'll remember always the stories-- Campus school, birds, nature swimming and more and I'll remember how soft you were with me, especially in those last visits. Thank you, simply, for your love. I'll hold your hand always in my heart.
Thank you family, for also welcoming me into those last few days. It meant the world to me. I am so very grateful for her and you.
May you find comfort in her memory and legacy. Pax.
