Obituary of Roger Benjamin

Roger Benjamin, 53 of Cortland passed away on January 4, 2024 at Crown Park Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. He was born on October 7, 1970 in Cortland, NY a son of the late Walter L Benjamin and Susie Tallman Brown. Roger was employed at Ames Linen as a washing attendant and previously at the Murray Center as a janitor. He loved NASCAR and liked any kind of racing. Roger is survived by his sisters, Terry Benjamin, Debbie (Robby) Terry, girlfriend, Koreen O' Brien, stepsisters, Connie (Larry) McFarland, Linda (Mick) Eccleston, Chris Aiken, Jan (Rich) Sloan, stepbrother, Brian (Debbie) Houck, brother-in-law, Doug Breed, many nieces, nephews and extended family. Roger is predeceased by his parents, Walter Benjamin, Susie Tallman Brown, stepparents, Mary Benjamin, Richard Brown, sister Brenda Breed, nephews, Jason Hurlburt and Evyn Houck. A celebration of life will be planned in the Springtime. The family wants to send a special Thank you to all the staff at Crown Park, especially the third-floor staff.
