Obituary of James E. Shaw

James E. Shaw, 63, formerly of McGraw, passed away on December 25, 2023 at Oneida Hospital. He was born on August 28, 1960 in Ithaca, NY to his parents the late Robert E. Shaw and Beverly J. "Paganelli" Shaw. James was loved and cared for by the staff of the New York State Office of People with Developmental Disabilities. He especially enjoyed one on one interaction with the staff members and using his sensory objects. James always looked forward to going on outings and to community events throughout the year. He resided in McGraw before relocating to Rome, NY in 2020. His big smile will be forever in our memories.
