Mark Q. Machukas, 60, of Homer NY went to Heaven on February 5, 2024 at Upstate Hospital in Syracuse, NY. He passed away from complications from a car accident. He was born February 17, 1963 In Ithaca, NY. The Son of the late Kazimer and Lois Machukas. He graduated from Dryden High School in 1981 and served in the Army. He retired from Charlotte County utilities in 2012 in Port Charlotte, Fl. Then his family moved back to NY. His hobbies included Fishing , Hunting and he was a avid bowler and he loved to cook. He had this dream of going to cooking school and to become a chef someday. Loved to shop and go to garage sales. He was a family man and loved his children and will be sadly missed by everyone that was in his life. His beloved cat Rocky is up there in Heaven with him. Mark is survived by his wife Pamela D. Taylor-Machukas of 33 years, Sons Brandon and Adam. His Sister's Rita ( Mike) Trovato and Karen Machukas both of Port Charlotte, Fl. Mark had several Nieces and Nephews Krista (corey ) Dugas and Jonathan and Jason (Karen) and Johnathon and Katie Williams and Christian Long. He is also survived by his Mother in Law Lillian Brown and Father in Law David Brown and sister in law Sue (skip) Peterson. Father in law James E. Taylor of Florida. Mark is predeceased in Death by his parents Kazimer & Lois Machukas and a special sister in law Karen Taylor. There will be no funeral services. A small get together will be planned at a later time at the convenience of the intermediate family and then a celebration of Mark's life and legacy in July. Also a special Thank you to Pam's side of the family Allen and Linda Edgecomb and family for being there for them. Donations can be made to the Autism Society and to Alzheimer's or a charity of your choice. The Family would like to thank everyone that was involved with Mark's care at this difficult time.
