The golf world has lost a local legend!! "Swish" was always honest to a fault... "Cowboy, what are you thinking? You can't use that club! You better go down a few...How can a guy who can't hit an iron, putt like you do?" Always a great guy and a great time! You will be missed! See ya on the nineteenth hole.

To all of Jeff's family, my condolences on his passing.
I haven't seen Jeff in a number of years but the few times I would go to Walden to play and if I saw Marcus I would inquire about him.
Years back when I was always there and Jeff was starting in the program we played some together and always had a good time. We would joke about everything including you Bill playing softball on George's team.
My heart goes out to you all, it's a sad day.

I remember Jeff’s smile and attitude to persevere. I once heard it said, “What sunshine is to flowers, smiles are to humanity. Jeff’s smile was contagious and you could help but smile back. In my mind I called it a unique Burt Renolds smile. He could have easily been a stand in in the movie, Smokey and the Bandit.” Persevering: Jeff didn’t let an accident to his hand keep him from playing golf. He overcame the, challenges and difficulties of playing with an injured hand and continued to be a great golfer. If heaven has a golf course, I am sure he is up there playing.

Left handers rule! So sorry to hear of Jeff passing. He was my partner in many golf tournaments. We did very well playing together. We even won the last tournament we played in together. The Stonehedges Member guest The championship flight. We both played under par for the weekend. I will always remember the crowd following us around the final round and all of the people around the final hole, including my parents, cheering us on. Rest in peace my friend. Save a spot on the tee box in heaven for me!!! RIP Jeff Hodge

Have many fond memories of Jeff. The basketball we played at his house on route 26, to him taking me fishing in town and catching my first trout off the bridge, to him talking me into trying out for jr. high basketball. That started a lifelong passion for the game, and we became teammates and later rivals when he moved to McGraw. But there was always respect and friendship with Jeff. I'm sorry I lost track of him over the years. Rest in peace my friend. Mike Allen
