Obituary of Mark Tallett

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Mark Lewis Tallett, 63, of Marathon, NY. He passed away on May 17th in Syracuse, NY, at Upstate Medical University. Calling hours will be held on Thursday May 23rd, 2024 from 3-6pm, at Wright-Beard Funeral Home, 9 Lincoln Ave., Cortland, NY. A memorial service will follow at 6pm with Pastor Jim Moore, of the First Baptist Church of South Otselic, NY officiating. Mark was born in Syracuse, NY to Dudley Tallett and Maryanne Renzaneth Tallett on May 25th, 1960. He attended high school at Cortland Junior Senior High School. He drove tractor trailers for over 20 years for multiple trucking companies. He liked to ride his motorcycle, fish, and hunt. He was also a history buff who enjoyed watching the History Channel. Mark is survived by his girlfriend Christina Leuck, of Marathon, NY. His children, Constance Tallett, Mark Tallett, Justin Tallett, Cody Tallett, Kristah Tallett, siblings, Cheryl Sigler and Andrew Tallett, father, Dudley, three grandchildren, three aunts, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
