In grief, we often lose the laughter. Yet for Donald, his spirited jocularity would demand we find it again. The world will be a touch less funny without Don's hilarious punch lines and heartwarming kindness. His caring sincerity was palpable from a mile away - painting every room he entered with gentle warmth. Like one of his trademark fix-it projects, he had a knack for mending spirits. A passionate soul indeed - our loss is as deep as his laughter was infectious.

Grandpa Heath was a Grandpa for so many kids and families! He knew all of them by name, went to every single event possible for Zeb, Josh and Justin. He was always upbeat, friendly and welcoming! I remember when Justin was at our house and fell off the bunk beds wrestling with Patrick(what else do you do when you are 9 year old boys!?) After trying to get ahold of Zeb and Kathy and both sets of grandparents, I took him to the hopital where all 6 showed up! Fortunately after a few stitches Justin was fine! Another time we were headed to the Heaths because it was their annual garage sale, where we made out like bandits. Grandpa and Grandma Heath came to the rescue as we had a minor accident on the way there. Grandpa always lit up a room with his smile.
Sue, Zeb, Josh and Justin, our condolences, love and hugs!

I will always remember when my Dad (John) and I (Jay) would visit, Zebulon J Berford Otoole and I would play basketball against our Dad's and they would smoke us. We were not immune to his witty banter. He will be missed by many.

Working with Don at crown has been a true pleasure. I got to enjoy some of his jokes. His chuckle when getting to the funny part or right before or after will be missed.
