Dorene Eaton, 61, of Cortland, NY passed away with her family by her side, on Thursday June 20, 2024. She was born on October 12, 1962, in Cortland. Dorene was a loving wife, mother, daughter, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and friend. Above all, she enjoyed being with her family, especially her grandchildren. Dorene loved her life and she enjoyed making her husband and her family happy. She took great pride in taking care of others, as they took care of her. Dorene loved her animals. She had many house pets, including her beloved dogs and cats, but she also had an incredible way of bonding with animals in her yard. She could feed and lure animals, like the deer and squirrels, and they would just come to her and visit. Dorene is survived by her loving husband Leamon Eaton, her mother Kay Dimorier, her children Larry (Mandy) Eaton, Angel (Derrick) Eaton, and Mitchell Eaton her brothers Mike (Cara) Dimorier and Mark (Donna) Dimorier, her grandchildren Dylan, Kirsten, Logan, Robert, Kaylee, Lillie, Destiny, Conner, Meara, and Lydia, and her great grandchildren Everlee and Aiden. She is predeceased by her father Larry Dimorier. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday June 25, 2024 from 11am-1pm at the Wright-Beard Funeral Home, 9 Lincoln Ave., Cortland, NY.
