Obituary of Barbara J. Hubbard

Barbara J. Hubbard, age 90, went home to her Lord and savior, Jesus Christ, on June 25, 2024, after a short illness. Barbara was born in Spafford, N.Y. on October 29, 1933. She was the daughter of Stella and John Barker. She graduated from Homer School in 1951. On September 28, 1952 She married Allen Hubbard Sr. Together they raised 5 children. Barbara worked at many places but most recently, SUNY Cortland State College, where she retired from. She is survived by her daughter Vicki (James) Clark and son Steven Hubbard, 13 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents, her husband, Allen, her son, Jake Hubbard, daughters Patti White and Kimberly Hubbard. A daughter in law, Susan Hubbard and a grandson, Joseph Holl. In Keeping with Barbara's wishes, there will be no funeral or calling hours. Just turn up that country music and dance! Wright-Beard Funeral Home, Inc. is assisting the family with arrangements.
