Obituary of Danny Simons

Danny J. Simons, 64, of Homer, passed away peacefully at home, on August 2, 2024. He was born on January 31, 1960 in Cortland, to his parents, the late E. Lester Simons and Olive Mae Coit. Danny worked locally with Cortland Pump and was without question a hardworking man. In his free time Danny looked forward to woodworking, golfing and fishing, as well as spending time with his friends by the fire. He will be remembered for his kind heart and one of a kind laugh. Danny is survived by his companion Rosanna Bilodeau; his children Nicholas Simons and Natalie (Caleb) Vincent; his siblings Randy Simons, Faye (Jerry) Butts, LouAnne Simons, and Gary (Jeanette) Simons; Rosanna's children David (Heidi) Bilodeau, Dillon (Ashley) Bilodeau, and Drew (Abbey) Bilodeau, as well as several grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He is preceded in death by his son Jason Simons and his sister Carol Lira.
