Linda Cottrell, 83, of Cortland, NY passed away on Sunday August 11, 2024. She was born on November 26, 1940, the daughter of the late Roger and Julia Holdridge Craver. Linda was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. Above all, she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Linda was a dedicated member of the Tully United Community Church. In her early years, she taught PreK Sunday School. In her free time, Linda was an avid reader, enjoyed gardening, bird watching, playing games, listening to music, and being with her friends. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Linda is survived by her sons Brian (Karie) Cottrell, Scott (Sharon) Cottrell, and Mark (Laura) Cottrell, her sisters Lorraine Balmer and Lila Donley, her grandchildren Trinity, Zackary, Abigail, Grace, Caroline, Anna, Kaitlyn and Alyssa, and her step grandchildren Joshua, Tyler, and Alex. In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her husband Stanley Cottrell and many friends who were like family to her. Calling hours will be held on Friday August 16, 2024 from 4-7pm at the Tully United Community Church, 5872 Meeting House Rd., Tully, NY. A memorial service will be held on Saturday August 17, 2024 at 10am at the Tully United Community Church. Burial of ashes will be private.
