Obituary of Thomas McCall

Tom McCall, 87 of Cortland passed away on September 18, 2024, at Cortland Park Nursing Home surrounded by his loving family. He was born on June 19, 1937, in Truxton, NY a son of the late Archibold and Mary Acroman McCall. Tom was a carpenter and worked a various places locally. He loved hunting and being in the woods, and was able to attend a hunting trip with his friends in Montana. His second love was tinkering in his garage. When not hunting or in the garage, Tom could be found in the woods off- road motorcycling. Tom was a big house builder and loved his job. He worked for Ed Styles Roofing and E.H. Lang carpentry. Tom is survived by his loving wife Darlene, two sons, Richard (Carla) McCall, David (Molly) McCall, two daughters, Janet McCall, Susan (Kory) Minshall, several grandchildren, Tom and Brian, Becky Lion, Derrick, Travis, Brandon, Grace, Tina, Lisa, and Jason. Tom is predeceased by his granddaughter, Patty Lion, siblings, Paula McCall, Josephine McGuire, Jean Crandall. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
