Obituary of Juanita M. Poole

Juanita Poole, 67, of Truxton, NY passed away on Sunday, September 22, 2024. She was born on March 27, 1957, the daughter of the late Douglas and Prudence Walling. Juanita was a loving spouse, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend. Above all, Juanita loved spending time with her family and she was a kid at heart. In her free time, Juanita enjoyed traveling, bowling, trying her luck at the casino, and snuggling her dog, Piper. Juanita was a dedicated worker and retired from Pall Trinity. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Juanita is survived by her loving partner in life, Daniel Condie, her children, Matthew Moss, Shawn (Rene) Moss, Jessica Underwood, Amanda Heath, and Israel Condie; her grandchildren Dakota (Braedon) Libbey, Paige Moss, Brooklyn Moss, Maddox Moss, Jacob Anderson, Hailey Anderson, Donivan Underwood, Ethan Underwood, Landon Underwood, Logan Heath, Aiden Heath, Briahnna Heath, and her great-grandson Kolbie Libbey. Juanita is also survived by her siblings; Julie (Jay) Rice, Paul Walling, Darlene (Joe) Aloi, and Lisa (Todd) Miner. In addition to her parents, Juanita is predeceased by her brother Douglas Walling. Calling hours will be held on Monday, October 7, 2024, from 4-6 pm, at the Wright-Beard Funeral Home, 9 Lincoln Ave., Cortland, NY. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, October 8, 2024, at 10:00 am at the funeral home. Burial will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery, 4101 West Rd., Cortland.
