John A. Drake, 70 of Cortlandville passed away on October 20, 2024 at his residence surrounded by his loving wife. He was born on January 13, 1954 in Dover, NJ, a son of the late Charles Schoonover and Pearl Drake.
John worked various places as a custodian, his last place of work was Cornell University. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved hunting.
John is survived by his loving wife, Grace and other loving family members.
Funeral services will be held 11 AM, Friday at Wright-Beard Funeral Home, Inc., 9 Lincoln Ave., Cortland. Burial will follow in Rose Cemetery, Groton, NY.
