Nellie Ludlow, 89, of Evergreen St. Cortland passed away Friday at her home. She was born July 23, 1922, the daughter of the late Aaron and Bessie Kinch Harrington.
She has been a longtime resident of Cortland. Nellie was a past member of the Moose, VFW, Legion, St. Anthonys Church and Homer Ave. Methodist Church. She loved to dance, listen to country western music, and do volunteer work.
Nellie is survived by her sons Joel Sharpe of Florida, Gary (Lorraine) Sharpe of Ballston Lake, daughter Jane Sharpe of Homer, stepsons Frederick (Tammie) Ludlow, John (Patricia) Ludlow, David (Mary) Ludlow, and Donald, 4 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, a step granddaughter, a step great granddaughter, nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was predeceased by her husband Donald F.Ludlow and daughter Linda Sharpe.
Funeral services will be held 11:30 AM Thursday at Wright-Beard Funeral Home, 9 Lincoln Ave., Cortland. Interment will follow at Cortland Rural Cemetery. A calling hour will be held 10:30-11:30 prior.
