Stephanie J. Potts, 69, of Cortland, NY passed away on Tuesday November 5, 2024. She was born on March 19, 1955, the daughter of the late Anthony and Melana Manderano. Stephanie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and friend. Above all, she loved her family. Stephanie and her husband were high school sweethearts and celebrated 53 wonderful anniversaries together. She supported her family in many ways, acting as a caretaker for her parents, and in her thirties, she donated one of her kidneys to her brother. With the support of her family, Stephanie admirably survived 2 different breast cancers, and fought lung cancer for 2 years. In her free time, she enjoyed crafts such as crocheting and painting and being with her family. She will be greatly missed. Stephanie is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Richard Potts, her children Shawn (Beth) Potts, Aimee (Kyriakos) Deriziotis, Alesha (Elvin) Alvarez, and her siblings James (Romaine) Manderano, Pamela (William) Prindle, Dominic (Bobby Jo) Manderano, and her grandchildren Amara (Jon), Aidan, Nathaniel, Natalia, Gianna, Milania, Kaia, and her great grandson Evander. In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her brother Michael Manderano. There will be no services. The family will be planning a private celebration of life in the Spring.
