Charlotte A. Stevens, 92, of East Homer passed away peacefully on Tuesday November 5, 2024. Born June 20, 1932, to Albert Witty and Reba Laird, she attended high school in Cortland, NY. After high school, Charlotte worked as a Receptionist for Cortland Hospital until she married her devoted husband of 57 years, Jesse R. Stevens. Charlotte and Jesse successfully owned and operated the Stevens Family Dairy Farm until his passing on September 15, 2015. Charlotte's passion was her family. Working side by side with them on the farm, gardening, canning all gave her great joy. She will be deeply missed. Charlotte is survived by her children Jesse R. (Sue) Stevens Jr. of East Homer, William (Carol) Stevens of Tully, Patricia (Timothy) Olley of California, Denise (John) Pitman of Marathon. Her grandchildren Sheena (Drew) Hill, Megan (Connor) Langevin, Matthew (Alicia) Stevens, Kayla (Zackary) Paterson, Amanda (Dylan) Carrigan, Nathanial (Jenna) Olley, Lacey (Jim) Mikochik, Marci (Hollis) Tompkins and several great grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held Monday November 11, 2024 at noon Wright-Beard Funeral Home, 9 Lincoln Ave. Cortland with interment to follow at Truxton Cemetery. Friends are invited to call on Monday from 11-12pm at the funeral home.
