It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of James R. Bond, age 70, of Cortland, NY, on January 6, 2025. Born on October 14, 1954, in Cortland to Robert and Margaret Doran Bond, Jim was a beloved member of the community who will be missed by all who knew him.
Jim lived a life filled with dedication, kindness, and love. His family was his greatest joy, and he treasured every moment spent with his loved ones. He was a devoted son, brother. Jim had a strong work ethic and was known for his quiet strength and generosity, always willing to lend a hand to those in need.
Jim is survived by his loving sister, Iva Bond.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Margaret.
A celebration of life will be held in the Spring of 2025.
