Judson G. Leonard, 93, passed away August 25, 2011. He was born in Minneapolis, MN, to Harold J. DMD and Marion Slater Leonard. Judson served as Second Lieutenant in the in the US Army during WWII. Following the war he graduated with a love of music and a degree in Economics from Oberlin College, Oberlin OH. Judson enjoyed a 25 year career as a district executive with the Boys Scouts of America. He retired from Campbell Soup Co. in 1983 where he worked as a computer programmer. Judson was predeceased by his beloved wife of 65 yrs. Marjorie A. (Romme) Leonard. He is survived by his brother Robert D. Leonard, MD (Aurea) of Williamsville NY, sister in law Carol Leonard of Shrewsbury MA, his three children Marianne Smith (Edward) of Cuyahoga Falls OH, David Leonard (Judith) of Westchester PA, and James Leonard DPM (Karen) of Cortland NY, nieces, nephews, and grandchildren. Judson will be remembered for his love of music, his wit, and his love of a great debate, and will be dearly missed by his family and friends. Private services to honor his memory will be September 26, 2011. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to a charity of ones choice or National Parkinsons Foundation.
