Barbara I. Angell, 79, of Blodgett Mills, passed away August 10, 2011 at the Cortland Regional Medical Center.
Barbara was born November 12, 1931 in Cortland, daughter of the late Donald and Florence Vosburg Truman.
Barbara was an underwriter for Central Co-op Insurance Company in Baldwinsville, she enjoyed knitting, crocheting, and was an avid gardener. She was a member of the Eastern Star, and Amaranth, the Blodgett Mills Grange and was a pole sitter for the Cortland County Department of Elections, for Blodgett Mills, Polkville, and McGraw.
Barbara is survived by her children Ronald Angell, Kenneth (Susan) Angell both of Blodgett Mills, Katherine (Wayne) Eastman, and Donna Lee (Walter) Nichols both of Virgil , her grandchildren Jesse L.R. Eastman, Robert A Bell, Walter Nichols Jr, joshua Eastman, her great grandchildren Dylan Thomas, joshua Eastman Jr.Lillian Eastman, Catherine Beth Eastman Matt Eastman, and Courtney Bell, her beloved feline companion Inky.
Funeral services will be held 10:00 AM Saturday at the Wright-Beard Funeral Home 9 Lincoln Ave.,with Pastor Jake Adams officiating . Friends are invited to call from 4-7 PM Friday at the funeral home. Interment will take place in Taylor Cemetery.
An Eastern Star/Amaranth service will be held 6:45 PM Friday evening at the funeral home.

I am so sorry for the loss of your Mom. She may be gone but she will always live within your hearts. Just a couple of things I'll never forget about her - the best baked beans I've ever had and her getting stopped after being at the Indian Reservation. Plus memories when we were kids. Donna,Kate,Ken,& Ron: I was very saddened to read about your mom.I still have great memories of her and all of you when we were growing up. She & my mom always had a good time together and managed to keep us all in line!
