Marjorie Fish Tarbell, 80, passed away August 7th 2011at the Cortland Regional Medical center after a lengthy illness. Marjorie was pre deceased by her parents Paul Fish and Sarah Anderson of McGraw and her brothers Maynard (Meg) Fish of Cincinnatus and Malcolm Fish of Auburn. Marjorie was born on February 4th, 1931 in Cortland. She graduated from Cincinnatus High School in 1949. There after in 1951, she married Dick Tarbell at the McGraw Methodist Church on June 2nd. Marjorie loved gardening and playing cards with her friends She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Richard Dick Tarbell, her children Jeffrey (Sheila) Tarbell, James Tarbell, Jerilyn Jill Tarbell, her grandchildren Jason (Celeste) Tarbell of N.C, Pamela (Tom) Cullip and her great grand children Matthew, Maegan and Madison Tarbell of N.C, Mason Bellrose and Taylor Cullip, many nieces and nephews. A calling hour will be held Thursday 1-2 pm with a funeral to begin 2pm at the Wright-Beard Funeral Home Inc 9 Lincoln Ave Cortland NY. Burial will follow at the McGraw Cemetery.
