Heather, You've always been a part of my life. When you were little you used to come up and spend part of the Summer's with me and when you had to go home I missed you very much like I do now. You were so brave during your illness and you fought till you had no more fight left in you. One time you told me you were tired of your body hurting.Your not hurting now Heather your in heaven with God and I know in my heart its a beautiful place and your not suffering. I promised you I would be there for Zoey and Rayna and I will be. I know your with Your Grandmothers and your Aunt Doris, and I know at this moment your all together. I Love You Heather, Aunt Wendy
Iwas very saddened to hear today that Heather had passed away. While she was in high school Heather spent quite a bit of time at the Youth Center in Cortland, where I worked. Even after graduating high school I was pleased she continued to spend time with us as a volunteer. She struggled with her health back then as well, but was never one to complain and worked harder than most people that I know. When her first daughter was born I was so happy for her because I knew how much being a mom meant to Heather. I have thought of her fondly many times over the years and wished we had stayed in better contact. I am grateful for having known her. My thoughts are with her daughters, parents and remaining family. Susan Williams
Amanda is very sad that Rayna's mommy passed away. Amanda is glad to be Rayna's friend in Mrs. Davis' kindergarten class and will be happy to cheer her up if she needs it. Rayna's friend, Amanda Hopko.
