Kenneth Mauzy, Sr., 74, of Lake Como Rd., Summerhill NY, passed away February 12, 2011 at Upstate Medical Center, Syracuse NY. Ken was born August 5, 1936 in Cuyler NY, the son of the late Ray and Beatrice Bush Mauzy.
Ken was an area resident all his life. He spent many years farming-both on his own and for other dairy farmers. He then worked for Pall Trinity until his retirement. In his spare time Ken enjoyed hunting, bird watching, and watching the Giants and Mets.
He is survived by his wife Helen Mauzy of Summerhill, , sister Shirley Nash of Cuyler, brother David (Paula) Mauzy of Cuyler, sons Kenneth Mauzy Jr. of PA, Bradley (Charlotte) Mauzy of MD, Glenn (Kathi) Mauzy of Homer, daughters Barbara (Harold) Todd of AZ, Annie (Brian) Dunham of Cortland, Linda (Phil Bell) Mauzy of Homer, stepsons Ray (Mary) Dunham of Cortland, Brian (Annie) Dunham of Cortland, Gregory Dunham of Moravia, stepdaughters Christine (Gary A.) Slade of Homer, Stephanie (Lee) Thompson of PA, 22 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his brothers Glenn Mauzy and Ronald Mauzy.
Calling hours will be Tuesday 4-6:45 pm with a funeral to begin 7 pm at the Faith Baptist Church, Rt. 13, Cortland NY. Spring burial will be at the Sand Hill Cemetery, Dresserville.

My mother Doris (Feint) Bush was a direct cousin of Beatrice Bush Mauzy - she took me and visited with the family quite bit when I was young as well as we all saw each other at the Bush Reuion - I just want to add my condlences to the family at this time - God bless you all
