Francis J. Crandall 85, of Cuyler passed away December 14, 2010 at home, Francis was born August 13, 1925 the son of the late Louis and Mae Ryan Crandall. He served his country with the US Navy during WWII, he was a self employed carpenter, was an avid motorcycle rider, enjoyed keeping fit, and loved is horse Iggy and his many cats. Francis is survived by his children Diane ( Ed) Rowley of Cortland, Laura (Jack) Lyon of Solon, Barry (Karen) Crandall of Lincklean, 10 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews, Francis was predeceased by is wife Jean and son Rick. Memorial services will be held 1:00 PM Monday at the Wright-Beard Funeral Home 9 Lincoln Ave. spring interment will be held in Truxton cemetery. Friends are invited to call from 12:00-1:00pm prior to the service. To offer on line condolences visit www.wright-beard.com To the family of Frank Crandall- Very sorry to learn of Frank's passing. We didn't find out about it until three days ago and we are sorry to have missed his memorial service. We would like to participate in the spring internment service to pay our respects at that time.
