Helen S. Kerschner, of Cortland passed away Sat. May 1 at Cortland Care Center. She was born Dec. 28, 1925 in Endicott, NY. She was the daughter of the late Ernest and Mary Horan Hardey. She has been a resident of Cortland for over 20 years. Helen was employed at Endicott Trust Co. for many years. Her hobbies included crafting and baking. Helen is survived by her sister Genevieve Martin, niece Barbara Allen of Cortland, and several other nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother and sister-in-law Richard (Marjorie Brain) Hardey. A graveside service will be held 1 pm Friday at Marathon Cemetery. Contributions in Helens name may be directed to Alzheimers Assoc. of CNY, 401 Hayes Ave., Endicott, NY 13760. Wright-Beard Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
