Linda Dianne Thornton 62 , of Cortland passed away February 23, 2010 in Syracuse, NY Linda was born January 12, 1948 in Cortland the daughter of the late DeVillo and Iva Darling Thornton.She enjoyed spending time with her friends at the Cortland Regional Medical Adult Day Care Center and the Horizan House, collecting seashells, reading books and listening to music.Linda is survived by her sisters Sylvia Stafford of Avon, NY, Janice Galutz of Cicero, and Evelyn (Paul) Miller of Cortland, several nieces and nephewsIn addition to her parents Linda was predeceased by her sister Carol F. Thornton, brothers Clarence B Thornton, Everett and his wife Marion Thornton, brother in laws Guy Galutz. and Kenneth Stafford.Funeral Services will be held 11:00 am Friday at the Wright-beard Funeral Home 9 Lincon Ave. Spring interment will be in Glenwood Cemetery Homer.Friends are invited to call from 10:00 am €“ 11:00 am prior to the service To offer on line condolences visit www.wright-beard.com
