Lloyd H. Fredenburg 83, of Cortland passed away January 6, 2010 in Cortland Regional Medical Center. Lloyd was born July 6, 1926 in Afton, NY the son of the late Romey and Ruth Benedict Fredenburg. He served his country with the USA Navy during WWII. He had been employed by IBM for over 25 years. Lloyd was an avid fisherman, bowler and golfer Lloyd is survived by his wife of 60 years Catherine Catalano Fredenburtg of Cortland His brothers Rexford Fredenburg of Florida, Robert (Betty) Fredenburg of Killowag, Donald Fredenburg of Marathon, Sister Beth (Maurice Kinner of Marathon, several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents Lloyd was predeceased by his sister Ivis Hanson Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Monday at the Wright-Beard Funeral Home 9 Lincoln Ave. interment will follow in St. Marys Cemetery. Friends are invited to call Sunday from 4- 6 pm at the funeral home.
