Obituary of Ruth Moore

Ruth Moore, 86, of Cortland passed away Friday Oct. 16 at Cortland Care Center . She was born Aug. 7, 1923, the daughter of the late Claude and Claire Steadman Inman. She has been a longtime resident of the Dryden/Groton area. She worked for TC3 for many years. In her spare time she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. Ruth is survived by her sons Wayne (Cindy) Moore of Cortland, Edwin (Charlotte) Moore of Groton, daughters Helen (Pat) Cruz of NC, Vivian (Joe) Cruz of PA, Shirley Doane of NC, brother Ivan (Connie) Inman of Rochester, sisters Elsie (Carl) Kruger of Texas, Norma Fairchild of NC., 11 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, nieces Elizabeth (Bob) Lisenby, and Ruthann Olsen, and nephew Melvin Moore A graveside service will be held 2 pm Monday at McLean Cemetery. There are no calling hours. Contributions in Ruths name may be directed to Alzheimers Assoc., 401 N. Salina St ., Syracuse, NY 13203 . She was predeceased by her husband Ralph Moore, son Randy Moore, and sister Jane Plunkett.
