was a great guy to know. Always a smile and never a cross word. We enjoyed working at the Patrol Shack. Ed was always resourceful and able to impromvise when we didn't have all of the right materials. My condolences to your family. Ski Heil, Boyd Kennicutt

So sorry to hear about Ed. He was a great guy and a fine Ski Patroller. Jim Brown
Ed was a great ski buddy. We joined the patrol together and I always loved skiing with him. As others have mentioned, he was easy-going and friendly to all. To Ed's family - my thoughts are with you. I hope your happy memories of Ed's life comfort you as you pass through this difficult time. Munna Rubaii
Gwen so sorry to hear of your loss, just wanted you to know we are thinking of you and your family Mark and Jo Anne Nixon
Ed and I go back a long way. His work for the Patrol was unrelenting in that he designed the interior of the down stairs, added all of the new locker both up and down stairs, and built the snomobile barn in his yard in Cortland and then had the parts shipped to the Peak for assembly. This plus many other projects he did very quietly. We have the facility we have because of him. He was a great guy to be with and to work with. I recall many after ski sessions just jawing and laughing. He had a great sense of humor. Goodbye Eddie. My best to you. My condolences to the family. Tom Lipa
