Michael S. Rosero, 49 of 44 Rickard St.,Cortland passed away September 21, 2009 at his home surrounded by his family. Mr. Rosero was born October 6, 1959 in Brooklyn, NY the son of the late Fernando and Lileth Rosero. Michael had most recently been employed at Wilcox Press in Ithaca and prior to that had worked for Salisbury Fire Equipment in Preble. Michael moved to the area from New York City in 1992. While residing in New York City he had worked for Motorola and the NYC Dept. of Transportation. Michael will be fondly remembered as a very loving and committed father and husband and will be sadly missed. Michael is survived by his wife Lorelei Rennus-Rosero, his son; Jerrell A. Rosero. Two brothers; Carlos of Cortland and Rick (Norayne) of Utica. Two sisters; Lydia (John) Rosero of Cortland, Carmen (Warren) Johnson of Brooklyn, NY also his extended family Mother; Louise Blocker of Jamaica Queens sisters; Dawn Miller, Angel, brother Paul and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held on Friday September 25 at the Gods Lighthouse of Praise Church with the Reverends Nathaniel and Rita Wright officiating. Friends are invited to attend the service at 5:00 PM.
