omg, Mark...
I had no idea of your pain...
You should know that I will ALWAYS carry a torch for you and for our times in 1969...you and Maureen and me, the Storoni clan! (and the episode during our viewing of the Love Bug film, too -- ALWAYS!)
Through all the years I knew you, I aways thought of you as the quintessential guy, from you as quarterback, to you as EarthDay activist, to you as The Utmost Coolest Guy (re: Procol Harum+) in Our Class of 1971...
I regret having lost touch as our lives moved on...
But I want you to know that I always loved you, bro -- always, always. In whatever forms worked best at the time...
Peace and love to you -- please share those feelings back with all of us while you sit there up in heaven's glory...

I worked with Mark for those 30 years at Albany Int. and was heartbroken to see he had passed. I remember his first day at work and knew immediately he would be a joy to work with.
We played golf and went to lunch together quite often and of course had tons of fun picking on each other. Ok maybe I picked on him more but he loved it as did I.
As correctly stated in the paper, he was loved by all and was certainly a young man whom my family greatly respected and loved.
My wife and children also send their heartfelt sympathy to the entire family. My son Larry called and couldn't believe he had passed. Mark gave him 2 pair of beautiful sneakers which he just loved. Typical Mark
My entire family will always cherish his friendship and hold Mark in our hearts forever.
Rest in peace my friend and again to the entire family please accept our deepest sympathy during this very difficult time.

My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this time of sadness. I worked with Mark at Tully Hill and he was just such a joy to work with. He had such a dry sense of humor and made my life so much more enjoyable working beside him at Tully Hill. He also was so inspirational and calming to the patients at Tully Hill. He was so interested in others and what their lives entailed. He was a " True Blue" and such a caring individual. He will be truly missed.

My sincere condolences to Mark's family. I worked the night shift at Tully Hill with Mark, and enjoyed sharing updates on Homer football, eagle sightings and pictures. He was a kind man and a pleasure to know.

Mark,
I met you when a group of us went on a study tour to Southampton, England and several ports along the Mediterranean Sea for 6 weeks during the summer of 1969. There was a group from Homer as well as two of us from Cincinnatus and a couple of people from NYC. It was a wonderful experience for all of us! I remember you purchased a beautiful cup and saucer for your Mom in Ireland! You had a joyful spirit and I know you will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved you. Rest in peace, Mark!

Markus - you were indeed loved. I have so very many fond memories of our trips to METS ball games, Myrtle Beach, family gatherings and also lunch with you, Edna and I. You were truly beyond exceptional - loving, caring, hilarious all of those things and so very, very many more.
I love you and will miss you so much. We didn't see each other often, but we caught right back up when we did. Rest in peace, my friend. You will be missed.
