Obituary of Mark Storrier

Mark S. Storrier, 61, of Cortland, passed away on Sunday, August 17 at Hospicare of Ithaca after a long battle with cancer.Born in Auburn, N.Y., he was the son of John E. and Mary Lou Storrier. Mark was a graduate of Homer Central School, SUNY Canton, and in 2009, received an associate degree in Applied Science from TC3. He worked at Albany International for thirty years and retired from Tully Hill Rehab in 2014. Mark loved his family. He faithfully followed SU Football and Basketball, his favorite musical group, "Procol Harum," and loved camping with longtime friends, The Brong Family. He also coached small fry football for several years. Mark had a wonderful sense of humor and was loved by all who knew him. He was a kind and generous man. He is survived by his mother, brother Michael (Linda), nephews JP and Dan, Niece Scarlett Brown, several cousins, aunts, and uncles. He was predeceased by his father and brother, John. There will be no calling hours. A service for family and close friends will be held at a later date, announced in the Cortland Standard.
