My truest condolences go out to you. I have too many fond memories of this fine lady to list but in essence I never saw her without a smile or a kind word. I was truly blessed to know her.

Dear Biviano family,
When our family lived on Starr Rd, our two youngest children were toddlers and the highlight of their day was when we would walk to the store and see Mr. and Mrs. "Bivianimal". Your mom always greeted us with a big smile and wished us a happy day. She truly was a great lady, living up to the meaning of Grace.
We pray that God will give you and your family peace.
With love,
Dave and Bonnie Newton

Larry,Marty and families: I was sorry to hear of Graces passing. Even though it was only for a short time I do believe she remembered mom and us, and would wave to me. She always seemed happy. Life has it's twists and turns, but she's with your dad now. From the store, to the bank, to the her work at the hospital, we would always stop and talk. May she watch over all of you. Mark

Dear Biviano Family,
(Comare) Grace--they don't make them like her anymore. Will always remember---Her infectious smile--the funny stories we shared about our families and our Italian Heritage---The Italian family recipes we exchanged--(she made the best cream puffs)--My appreciation for the many visits she had with my parents and they so loved to see her--We were the first to start the tradition to dress up in costumes from the regions in Italy, for the St, Anthony's Day Celebration--we were very hesitant in doing this but we were very well received and father even asked us to stay for the second mass. We were about to take communion at the second mass and She said "but we took it at the first mass"-I said " let's take all we can get," After mass Father wanted to know what we were laughing about. I treasure all the home and hospital visits and coffee hours we shared together. It was an honor and a privilege to have known this beautiful "Comare"
Our heartfelt condolences to you all

Larry & family,
My heart was so saddened to find out about the passing of your dear mother. She was such a blessing in my life and I really loved working with her at Cortland Savings Bank. She always had my best interest in mind and was always there when I needed a hug or a shoulder to cry on. Even tho' I moved from Cortland many years ago, I often think about back home and remember the wonderful people that God brought into my life..especially your mom. Heaven definitely gained another angel and I will miss her dearly..
God bless you all,
Patty (Randall) Davis

To the Biviano Family:
We go way back.....the store on Port Watson Street, the store on Tompkins Street and, yes, to the Cortland Savings Bank. Grace was the epitome of a lady! Friendly, outgoing, and always with a smile. The day I hit (t-boned) a Smith's Pie truck that was coming in to the Tompkins Street store for a delivery remains memorable, as Grace came out to see if I was okay. Nobody hurt.
Lots of fond memories of Gracie.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you. She surely will be missed!

Dear Larry, Teresa and Family,
Your mom was a lovely lady. She always had a smile on her face no matter where you saw her. She was the person you first saw when you came into the bank.
My family was so happy that all of you came to my mom and dad's 50th Wedding Anniversary. Your mom shared some wonderful stories with all of us.
We are sorry for your loss. God Bless

Dear Biviano Family,
We were saddened to learn of Grace's passing. When we were first married and living in the (then) new Sherbrook Apartments across the street from the store, we came to know and love both John and Grace.
A year after our marriage, on the way home from the Cortland Hospital with our first born daughter, the first stop the three of us made was at the store to show her to Grace.
Over the years, until we moved away, we shared life's ups and downs with Grace, an aptly named graceful person.
Her wisdom and empathy seemed to know no bounds.
Please accept our heartfelt condolences. We share your sorrow but know that she rests in peace.
Sue and Ken Jones
