I have so many great memories of Karen when she watched me after school almost 20 years ago. I remember she had a small tree with fruit (oranges, maybe?) growing in the living room area... she used to tell us funny stories about what would happen if we picked the fruit. She always was smiling. Thoughts and prayers are with you in this difficult time. Know that she touched many, many lives and will not soon be forgotten.

My heart breaks for you, Gary, and all of Karen's family. She put up a valiant fight over the last few years. Every time I saw her, she had a smile on her face - and she sent the best Christmas cards! She touched many lives and will always be remembered for her nurturing way of many children. RIP my friend.
